The "Creative" version of the Zephyr adjustable dog steps comes to you in an unfinished state to allow you to use your creative juices to finish it any way you like. Just visualize the unique design of the Zephyr dog steps as a blank canvas on which to express your creative side.

Try trimming your dog steps in metal or acrylic, paint it or wrap the body in fabric, add decals or a racing stripe. Whatever makes you happy is fine with us. Then send us a snapshot of your finished dog steps along with your pooch and we will post them on the Good Steps website!

Some minor assembly required - If you can use a tube of glue and a small hammer or mallet you can finish this model yourself and just the way you like it.

Unfinished - Get creative with this accent piece. The possibilities are endless.

CREATIVE

DESCRIPTION:

The "Classic" version of the Good Steps Zephyr adjustable dog steps comes with a clean and clear coat of protective Verathane. This gives it a more finished look than the Creative while not being quite as polished as the Custom model.

If you tend to like a more clean and natural look that preserves much of the wood's original color then this model is for you.  It won't tend to be as white as the unfinished Creative model, offering instead a subtle softening of the tone.

It ships flat and requires only a mallet or small hammer to tap together.

CLASSIC

DESCRIPTION:

The "Custom" version of the Good Steps Zephyr adjustable dog steps come with a three-layer finish including a light golden stain followed by a clear coat, hand sanding happens next, and then a final protective clear coat. This results in a highly finished look with subtle golden accents. Custom stain upon request. This is the Top-Of-The-Line for the Zephyr model.

If you tend to like a richer and more finished/polished look that adds some richness to the wood's original color then this model is for you. Matte or Gloss finish, your choice.

It ships flat and requires only a mallet or small hammer to tap together.
